Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
AAC stands for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). It is any form of Communication which helps (augmentative) or replaces (alternative) speech.
AAC includes simple systems such as pictures, gestures and pointing, as well as more complex techniques involving computer technology.
