Nursing service - Child Development Centre (CDC)
The CDC nursing team provides quality, specialist, multi-disciplinary services for children with moderate to severe disabilities and their families registered with a GP in the Barking & Dagenham area, in order to ensure each child reaches their full potential. These include physical and learning disabilities, neuro-developmental disorders, hearing, vision, speech, and language impairments.
The nursing team works with the children's therapists, paediatricians, health visitors, school nurse's, education, social services, specialist hospitals, and other agencies to support the family and provide a multi-disciplinary approach centred around the child or young person. We also work in partnership with parents to ensure the most effective care and support for their child.
