New Patient Messaging Service Launched At Brentwood Community Hospital
The NELFT voluntary services team have launched a new patient messaging system for patients at Brentwood Community Hospital.
At a time when many friends and family are unable to visit their loved ones in hospitals and inpatient settings, this all important service will help them stay in touch with their loved ones and help to keep their spirits up. The service will also allow members of the public to leave messages for patients who may not ordinarily receive any visitors or messages, in order to help boost the morale of some of our most vulnerable patients.
The service is initially being launched at Brentwood Community Hospital with the help of our volunteers, with the aim of rolling it out to all NELFT inpatient settings soon after.
Friends, family, and members of the public can fill out a form on our website with a message and up to two images (due to security measures, images of people are not allowed) and then these will be distributed to the recipients by our volunteers.
Please spread the word to any family or friends of patients in Brentwood Community Hospital and keep checking back for the launch of the service Trust-wide in the near future.
