PCREF transforming crisis care workshop

On Monday 24th February the PCREF team held a Transforming Crisis Care workshop which brought together over 70 colleagues, including mental health professionals, community organisations, police representatives, and expert-by-experience speakers, to address the crucial issue of the use of force in mental health crises.

This week, NELFT is celebrating Autism Acceptance Week bringing awareness and helping to create a society that works for autistic people.


It is estimated that around one percent of the adult population is autistic. Autism is a lifelong condition that affects how people perceive the world and interact with others. Seen as a developmental condition, characterised by impairments in social interaction, social imagination, and communication.

NELFT first to launch NHS Relational Care Faculty to transform mental healthcare for patients and their families

The Relational Care Faculty (RCF) held a launch event today at the City Gates Conference Centre in Ilford.

NELFT is the first NHS trust to establish a Relational Care Faculty to transform mental healthcare for patients and their families.
