NELFT shortlisted for 2024 HSJ Digital Awards

NELFT’s Pharmacy Operational Dashboard has been shortlisted in the 'Improving Medicines Management and Pharmacy through Digital' category at the 2024 HSJ Digital Awards.

Hailed as a ‘real success story’ by judges, the Pharmacy Operational Dashboard helps our Pharmacy Team manage their daily workload more effectively by highlighting at a glance all new patients and their medication data, rather than having to look through individual records.

The project has improved patient safety and prevents omissions by helping to identify patients that need urgent pharmacy reviews and ensure patients on high-risk medicines are prioritised.

Julia Hall, Pharmacy Business Support Manager at NELFT said:

“We are delighted to make the shortlist! Being a finalist for Improving Medicines Management and Pharmacy through Digital in the HSJ Digital Awards 2024 will be a huge ‘pat on the back’ for our amazingly hard work.

“Our staff always go above and beyond to improve patient outcomes and quality of service and care - and aligning with the HSJ Digital Awards programme really allows us to share our success as well as everything we’ve learnt through implementing our project”.

HSJ editor Alastair McLellan, adds:

“It always gives me great pleasure to congratulate our finalists at this stage of the judging process and this year is no exception as we acknowledge NELFT for being shortlisted in the category of Improving Medicines Management and Pharmacy through Digital”.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony taking place on the 6 June 2024.
