NELFT is pleased to announce the appointment of the new Lead Professional for Looked After Children, Victoria Winfield-Brown.

This is a brand-new role for the Trust, with the aim to provide strategic, professional, and clinical leadership across the organisation for Looked After Children.

Victoria, who has extensive experience of working in a number of safeguarding children roles, is joining NELFT from her position as Associate Director for Safeguarding Children across ELFT. Victoria brings a wealth of experience into this role from her years in safeguarding and health visiting, including having previously worked within NELFT’s safeguarding team.

Victoria said:

“It feels wonderful to be back working in NELFT in this amazing new post. I am really excited to be in such a privileged role where I can be a voice for Looked After Children across the organisation. I am looking forward to the opportunity to work with colleagues to engage young people in the work that we do and hearing their experiences.”
