NELFT appoints new Associate Director of Social Work, Social Care and Carers
NELFT is pleased to announce the appointment of new Associate Director of Social Work, Social Care and Carers, Elizabeth Folarin.
With a diverse background spanning both local authority and healthcare settings, Elizabeth brings a wealth of experience to this role. Her most recent position was as the Deputy Head of Social Work at the Central and North West NHS Trust, where she played a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing social work services.
Elizabeth has over 15 years of experience in children and adults social care and safeguarding and her expertise encompasses a broad spectrum, including learning disabilities, substance misuse, physical health, mental health, hospital discharge, and immigration social work.
Elizabeth said:

My passion lies in fostering the professional development of our social workers by providing increased opportunities for skill enhancement through research, continuous professional development, and employment prospects”.
