Eileen Taylor reappointed as Trust Chair

North East London NHS Foundation Trust (NELFT) are pleased to announce the reappointment of Eileen Taylor as Joint Chair with East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT) for three years from October 1, 2024. 

The reappointment was made by the Council of Governors for each Trust. 

NELFT Chief Executive Paul Calaminus, said:

“Eileen Taylor’s reappointment as Joint Chair is excellent news for both NELFT and ELFT. Eileen’s leadership and commitment have been instrumental in helping to shape and drive NELFT’s commitment to improving the lives of the communities we serve.” 

Eileen Taylor said:

“I look forward to continuing to collaborate with our communities, staff and our system partners to improve access, experience and outcomes and to improve equity. I particularly value the insight I have received to date from the staff, governors, patients and carers at ELFT and NELFT." 

Eileen will continue to lead the Boards and Councils of both Trusts, with a combined budget of £1billion and more than 12,000 staff providing mental health, community health, learning disabilities and primary care services for more than six million people in north east London, Bedfordshire and Luton, Essex and Kent.
