School Nurse Drop in’s

The School Nurse drop in is carried out in your child’s school on set days of the month. This is a confidential service that students can access if they wish to seek further support relating to their health and emotional wellbeing.

All information discussed will remain Confidential unless we feel that the information discussed will put you at risk of harm. Please liaise with your School to find out the dates in which your School Nurse will be in.

Sexual Health and Healthy Relationships

Your School Nurse will be able to provide a level of support around Sexual Health and signpost you to services you may wish to access within the borough. Your School Nurse will also be able to provide you an insight of what a healthy relationship should look like.

Healthy lifestyle

Our School Nurses are trained in delivering health promotion to the community in order to improve health outcomes. Our School Nurses will be able to support with creating a healthy lifestyle and referring to other services if required.

Self-referral

Young people can make a self referral for support or parents can refer their children into the service.
