Referrals

Referrals will be accepted via the Waltham Forest access and assessment team (AAT) and NELFT acute services. All new referrals to go through the access & brief intervention team. We receive direct referrals from inpatient and other secondary services, transfer of service users from other boroughs and the early intervention in psychosis team through referral to the generic email address using the referral form.

Criteria: Resident in Waltham Forest. Aged 18 to 65. Diagnosis of serious mental illness and fits CPA criteria outlined on the referral form.

Exclusions: Primary diagnosis of substance misuse. Not subject to CPA. No self referrals. People under the age of 18 years or who are over the age of 65 when first referred to the service.
