Referrals

Referrals will be accepted through the access and assessment teams; the home treatment teams; inpatient services; child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS).

Criteria: Aged 14-35, resident in Barking and Dagenham, have not previously been treated for psychosis or treatment has been for no more than one year. 

Exclusions: Treatment for psychosis or psychotic illness commenced more than 12 months ago; primary diagnosis of moderate to severe learning disability, eating disorder or personality disorder; primary diagnosis of organic cause of psychosis; presentation is bipolar without psychotic symptoms.
