Local school visits Corringham Integrated Medical Centre to help with planting ceremony

This month, students from Graham James Primary School helped to add some much-needed greenery to the front garden of the new Corringham Integrated Medical Centre (IMC) building. With the new IMC due to open in Spring 2022, the planting ceremony offered local students the opportunity to get involved in dressing up the premises.

International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2021

This Friday 3 December, is International Day for People with Disabilities. 

To show our support and to mark the event, our EDI Team and our Disability Staff Network are delivering an inspiring and informative session for NELFT staff. The aim is to help create a shift in the way we think about disability and to build allyship between people who are disabled and people who are not disabled. Active allyship is at the heart of disability equality, particularly in the workplace.

World Kindness Day

This Saturday (13 November) is World Kindness Day, celebrated annually, participants attempt to make the world a better place by celebrating and promoting good deeds and pledging acts of kindness, either as individuals or as organisations.

Why not mark the occasion with a random act of kindness, perhaps you could leave one of our patients or service users a message to brighten up their day.
