The North East London NHS Foundation Trust (NELFT) has held a memorial event for NHS staff and patients lost to the pandemic, attended by Brentwood MP Alex Burghart and Mayor Gareth Barrett.

NELFT are one of the largest providers of Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) in the country with teams in Kent and Medway, Essex and London.

Over a quarter of a million people in mid and south Essex have protected themselves from flu, and more than 200,000 from COVID-19 by taking up the offer of free winter vaccinations to help them fight off seasonal illness this winter.

The Chaplaincy Team at NELFT offer spiritual, religious, or pastoral support for staff, patients, and carers. Volunteers are an integral part of the team, trained by a joint training programme held jointly with EPUT.
