The North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT) & NEU Professionals were finalists at the Nursing Times Workforce Awards on the 21^st November 2023.

Arthur Sibanda, moved to the UK from Zimbabwe in 2022 and now works as a Clinical Facilitator with the Practice Experience and Programmes Team at Goodmayes Hospital.

NELFT is pleased to announce the appointment of the new Lead Professional for Looked After Children, Victoria Winfield-Brown.

The Mid and South Essex Community Collaborative (MSECC) was finalist in two HSJ award categories at the prestigious ceremony, where organisations are recognised for their exemplary achievements in delivering health and care.  

Arthur Sibanda represented NELFT at a reception for international nurses and midwives hosted by the King at Buckingham Palace on 14 November.

On the 10th of November 2023, NELFT were awarded the Collaborative Project of the Year award at the 2022/2023 RCGP North East London Faculty Recognition Awards.

NELFT are one of the largest providers of Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) in the country with teams in Kent and Medway, Essex and London.

Over a quarter of a million people in mid and south Essex have protected themselves from flu, and more than 200,000 from COVID-19 by taking up the offer of free winter vaccinations to help them fight off seasonal illness this winter.

The annual Psychological Professionals Conference was held Thursday 19 October 2023 to celebrate the work undertaken by NELFT’s psychological professionals.
