The team works with children and young people (CYP) aged 0-19 in schools, children’s centres, clinics and their homes to assess need, train and empower children, their care givers and school staff and deliver specific therapeutic packages of care. CYP who have an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) will be treated according to the requirements of the plan.
The CIT has 6 pathways that CYP may be accepted onto.
Each of these Pathways has clear entry criteria and set packages of care based on need. Click on each pathway below for more information.
The CIT team work with colleagues in education and social care to deliver an integrated service for children and young people and will share information only to support the care outcomes for the Child or Young Person.
