Kent

I am an experienced Human Resources professional with strong underpinning knowledge. I have worked within HR for 20 years and I have a master’s degree in Employment Law, and I am chartered MCIPD.  I am also a qualified Barrister in another Jurisdiction.

I currently cover Kent as a Governor for North East London Foundation Trust. Currently working at Chelsea and Westminster as an Associate Director of HR. 

I am a passionate mother and carer, hence wanting to support North East London Foundation Trust as a Governor and I am keen to make a difference to service users and their carers. I keep up to date with issues facing the NHS, to ensure that all the work I do makes a difference to our patients.

My openness and transparency are how I demonstrate my leadership skills, which helps me inspire people to take a chance and make a change whether it is big or small change. I believe in being a compassionate leader because I take a stand against injustice and prejudices daily. 

I understand my responsibility as a Governor and take this very seriously.  I am a keen advocate of carers and servicer users and understand the speak up duty as a requirement under the NHS standard contract in England. I uphold the NHS value of caring, respect and inclusion.

My wealth of experience and knowledge helps me to establish credibility quickly. I am also working towards becoming a certified coach.
