Professor Gabriel Ivbijaro MBE PhD

Gabriel Ivbijaro is an international leader in Primary Care Mental Health, has worked with many stakeholders including the WHO; Visiting Professor of Population Mental Health at NOVA University, Lisbon, Portugal and Joint Director of the NOVA University International Masters Programme in Primary Care Mental Health.
He is a specialist in Integrated Care and Primary Care Mental Health, with expertise in service re-design, Past President of World Federation for Mental Health (WFMH), President of the World Dignity Project and current WFMH Secretary General.
He was 2010-2012 London Regional General Practice Adviser for the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Programme & Chair of the Long Term Mental Health Conditions Clinical Expert Panel for NHS Londonand Chair for Waltham Forest Federated GP Commissioning Consortium from 2011 to 2013.
He is an International Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, Wonca Fellow, Fellow of the Royal College of General Practioners, Member of the American College of Psychiatrists, Honorary Member of the World Psychiatric Assocation (WPA) and World Association of Social Psychiatrists (WASP) Honorary Fellow.
