The We are NELFT awards are our annual awards that recognises and celebrates colleagues who go above and beyond to deliver great care for our patients and make a difference to our community and / or colleagues.

Patients, carers and our community are able to thank and celebrate a member of NELFT staff by nominating them for our Patient, Service User and Carer Choice award. This award celebrates a colleague, volunteer or involvement representative who truly puts the patient at the centre of all they do.

How to nominate a NELFT colleague for the Patient, Service User and Carer Choice Award

We are so excited to launch the patient, service users and carer choice award this year and we are looking forward to having your voices celebrate some of the amazing work that is being done by our team. 

Nominations are open until Friday 25 April, so please do get nominating! 

Who can nominate?    
Service users, involvement representatives, carers, family & friends, members of the community.   

Who can be nominated?    
All NELFT staff / teams / volunteers / involvement representative

Criteria and guidance  
This award recognises an individual or team who has made a meaningful difference in the care and support of service users, carers, or loved one s . Whether through exceptional clinical care, compassion, or kindness, this award celebrates those who go above and beyond to make a positive impact.  

Nominees could be any staff member , clinical or non-clinical, who has provided outstanding care, support, or assistance during their experience with NELFT.  

There are no restrictions or word counts - simply tell us, in your own words, why this person or team deserves to be recognised.
