Quality Improvement Facilitator Programme Graduation

On the 20 th of March 2024 the Quality Improvement (QI) Service proudly hosted and celebrated the achievements of our outstanding graduates from Cohort 18 of the QI Facilitators Programme. This is a 9-month programme of learning whilst attendees carried out a QI project within their respective services. Each attendee had their own allocated Improvement Advisor to support them through the process of a QI project.  

The projects showcased were of exceptional quality, addressing various service-related challenges and resulting in enhanced processes, resource savings, and optimised care. You can view the project posters here:

  1. Abbie O'Sullivan — Improving the SET-CAMHS Crisis 7 Day Follow Up Call (7DFU) process for young people, families and staff
  2. Alex Scutcher — reduce unused laptops to 3% of the total laptop allocation across Waltham Forest NELFT teams
  3. Anna Wilde — Reducing DNA rates in North Essex SET CAMHS Team
  4. Bridget Muleya — Enhancing staff confidence and competence in caring for patients with epilepsy
  5. Jade Pijuan Winner — Reduction in the amount of non face to face contact time
  6. Jayshree Sharma — Enhancing frailty care in Thurrock: Integrating a Pharmacist to improve medication management
  7. Lisa Moore — Insulin administration within the Havering District Nursing services
  8. Moshood Salman — To reduce Sexual Safety Incident by 30% within the Acute and Rehabilitation Directorate (ARD)
  9. Rachel Levi — increase the number of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy initial assessments completed by therapy staff by 20% in the Rehabilitation and Frailty Team
  10. Victoria Wyke-Joseph — Promotion of in-patient self administration on the rehabilitation wards at Meadow Court
